District 6 Addy Competition Fees
Welcome to the 6th District ADDY Awards! Information below is for both Local ADDY Chairs and At-Large entrants.
General Information
Entry deadline: All entries must be entered on-line (or electronically forwarded by local ADDY chairs) and physically received by 5:00 PM , Friday, March 14, 2008. Mail entries to:

Information for Local ADDY Chairs
Entry Rules: All entries must conform to 2008 AAF rules and categories. All clubs must advance their entries using the ADDY software. PLEASE INCLUDE A HARD COPY OF YOUR ENTRY MANIFEST and a check along with your entries. You can easily print this out from the ADDY software.
Note: ANY CLUB THAT DOES NOT ADVANCE THEIR ENTRIES USING THE ADDY SOFTWARE WILL NOT BE JUDGED AT DISTRICT.
Again this year: There will be a $10.00 administrative fee charged to any entry improperly categorized that must be reassigned. You will be notified of the change, and the fee must be paid before the entry is judged. So triple-check your master manifest against your entries before shipping them.
Fees: The entry fee to forward Golds or Silvers to the District is $75.00 per entry. Also please note that all clubs will be assessed a $2.00 fee for each entry in the local competition by the AAF. The AAF will invoice you for this.
Reminder: Each entry must come with your local entry form attached to it. If it does not, the entry will not be judged.
What to ship: All Gold ADDY winners must be auto-forwarded at the club's expense to us. All Silver ADDYs, or equivalent awards, should be forwarded as well. We suggest that you automatically forward Silver ADDYs and bill the recipient, advising them their work can be judged at District, but for an additional fee. (This is the standard protocol used nationally by the AAF.) If we do not receive the money to cover judging the Silver ADDY entry you send us, it will not be judged.
Notification: All local ADDY Chairs will be notified via fax or email of the District winners from their club by or before April 20, 2007. It will be your responsibility to notify your local winners.
Plaques: Plaques will be shipped, at each club’s expense, to ADDY chairs for distribution to your winners. Each plaque will contain a Duplicate Order Form which should be faxed to all of your winners. The cost for duplicate plaques is $75.00.
The National Competition: District Gold ADDY winners will be auto-forwarded to the National ADDY competition. If your club has District Silver ADDY winners, they will also be forwarded to national, however, the entrant must pay an additional fee directly to national before it is judged. Fees are $100.00 for a single entry, and $100.00 for a campaign. The AAF will notify Silver ADDY winners and inform them of when and how to make payment. For 6th District At-Large Entrants
Entry Rules: 6th District At-Large judging will take place immediately prior to the 6th District ADDY judging for all entrants that did not have a local ADDY competition to enter. All entries must conform to 2008 ADDY Rules and Guidelines and must not have already been entered in a local ADDY Competition. To enter, go to www.ADDYcompetition.com and create a username and password. Select your city or club from the pull down menu and then follow the instructions. When completed, print your manifest and send it along with your entries and check to the address above. All entries that receive an ADDY in the At-Large judging will then be judged in the 6th District ADDY competition.
Fees: At-Large entry fees are $100 per entry – single or campaign. Checks should be made payable to AAF District 6.

Student ADDY Competition - 6 th District At-Large Entry Fee $20
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be enrolled full or part-time in an accredited U.S. educational institution
- Work must be developed specifically for this competition or submitted from previous projects or competitions. Work developed for paying clients will not be accepted with the exception of work created by clubs as fund raisers or work created for student publications.
- Work must be created while entrant is a student not employed in the advertising industry. Student interns are eligible.
Student Auto-forwarding: GOLD ADDY winners will progress from Local Club Competitions and to our 6th District Competition and finally the National Competition with no additional fees to the student. SILVER ADDY winners may choose to forward work at their cost with a $20 fee per tier.
